A surveyor who understands life on the water

As both a marine surveyor and an avid Lake Michigan boater, I approach every inspection from the same perspective you do—as someone who knows what it means to trust a vessel with your family, your time, and your investment. My goal is simple: deliver the same level of clarity, honesty, and thoroughness I expect as a boat owner myself.

What Guides My Approach

🛠️

Technical Standards & Safety

A systematic approach to every vessel

I follow a structured, system-by-system inspection process—from hull and structure to decks, machinery, electrical, fuel, plumbing, steering, and safety equipment.

Where appropriate, I incorporate non-destructive testing such as moisture readings and percussion sounding to identify areas of concern without damaging finishes.
